When you think of a wedding, you most likely already have good photographers in mind: you might follow them on social media or know them through recommendations. First, understand if you enjoy the wedding photographer’s work: you should be close to his aesthetic, the emotions that a professional reflects in his images, and to some extent even the couples he is photographing. Then you have to decide on the budget, inquire about costs and find out about hiring your dream photographer.
How long before the wedding should I start looking?
It is best to do this as soon as the date of the wedding is known: the earlier you start, the more good specialists are free, and you can choose from those that you really like.
First of all, it is worth saying what caught the attention of the photographer in his work, and what, on the contrary, did not please. This will help the professional to better understand you as a bride and groom. For example, if you don’t like black and white shots, staged, retouched shots, etc., it’s important to mention that. After discussing your preferences, it will become clear which photos you want and which moments you want to avoid. It is also worth discussing the locations and the schedule for the day.
