Personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) is only processed by us to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its contents and the services offered there.

II. Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described below, users and data subjects have the right to:

  • Confirmation of whether data concerning them is being processed, information about the data being processed, further information about the data processing, and copies of the data (see also Article 15 GDPR);
  • Correction or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (see also Article 16 GDPR);
  • Immediate deletion of data concerning them (see also Article 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, to the extent that further processing is required under Article 17 (3) GDPR, to restriction of processing as per Article 18 GDPR;
  • Receipt of data concerning them and provided by them and transmission of this data to other providers/controllers (see also Article 20 GDPR);
  • Complaint to a supervisory authority if they believe that the data concerning them is processed by the provider in breach of data protection regulations (see also Article 77 GDPR).

The provider is also obliged to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed by the provider of any correction, deletion, or restriction of processing of data pursuant to Articles 16, 17 (1), 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if this notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, users have the right to information about these recipients.

Furthermore, users and data subjects have the right to object to the future processing of data concerning them in accordance with Article 21 GDPR, provided the data is processed by the provider under Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for direct advertising purposes is permissible.

III. Information on data processing

Your data processed while using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage ceases, provided there are no legal retention obligations preventing deletion and unless otherwise specified in individual processing descriptions below.

IV. Recipients of data

Your personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if this is necessary for fulfilling the contract, if there is a legal obligation, or if you have expressly consented. Recipients may include IT service providers, payment service providers, or public authorities.

V. Data transfer to third countries

If personal data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, this will only occur if the recipient guarantees an adequate level of data protection (e.g., through EU Standard Contractual Clauses) or if there is explicit consent.

VI. Data retention period

Personal data will only be stored as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. After this period, the data will be deleted, unless there are legal retention obligations preventing deletion.

VII. Withdrawal of consent

VIII. Right to complain to supervisory authorities

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection regulations, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority is the data protection officer of the state of Lower Saxony, Germany.

IX. Automated decision-making and profiling

Automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR does not take place on our website.

XI. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). The information generated by these cookies about your use of our website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

To ensure the anonymity of your data, we use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. Your IP address will be shortened within the EU before being transferred to the USA. XVII. Use of customer reviews, photos, and videos from events

We use customer reviews as well as photos and videos from events on our website to showcase our services. The use of this content is based on a contractual agreement with our clients, in which it is stipulated that a withdrawal of consent for publication is not possible.

  • Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR, as consent is contractually agreed upon.

XVIII. Use of Plerdy (Heatmap Analysis)

We use the service Plerdy on our website to analyse user behaviour and to optimise our content and functionalities. Interactions such as clicks, mouse movements, scrolling behaviour, and visited pages are recorded and visualised in so-called heatmaps.

The processing of this data is carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can grant via our cookie consent tool.

The following data may be processed:

  • anonymised IP address

  • device type, screen size, and browser information

  • user behaviour on the website (clicks, scroll depth, time spent)

The data is not used to personally identify individual users. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Plerdy. If data is transmitted to countries outside the EU, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards in accordance with Arts. 44 et seq. GDPR.
