Sometimes things happen that you don’t really want to talk about too much – not out of modesty, but because words simply aren’t enough. This year’s Wedding Award was exactly such a moment. Dima Sol, our host and wedding officiant at Fasol Entertainment, achieved second place among wedding hosts in Germany and also secured a spot in the Top 10 Master of Ceremonies in the country. An achievement to be proud of.
The Wedding Award is not an event where you simply buy a ticket and maybe walk away with a trophy.It is one of the most recognised award in the German wedding industry, where real client feedback, experience, and professionalism are evaluated together. Photographers, florists, venues, hosts, MCs – all areas of the industry are represented. Anyone who achieves a placement there has earned it through years of work, not by chance.
What surprised us most that evening was actually something completely different from the award itself. We are usually on the other side – planning, coordinating, making sure everything runs perfectly for others. And suddenly, we found ourselves sitting in a room that someone else had carefully prepared, with music chosen by someone else, and an atmosphere that simply existed – without us lifting a finger. It may sound like a small thing, but for someone who has been creating events for others for years, it felt unusual and, honestly, incredibly special. On top of that, there were all the people from the industry – individuals who think like we do, who know the same Saturday nights and the same excitement before a ceremony. Experiencing this sense of community was almost more valuable than anything else.
