You can meet weddings without a wedding ceremony, without a wedding host or emcee, without alcohol and even without guests (a wedding for two). But there has never been a wedding without a wedding cake. The cake is a wedding tradition that absolutely everyone loves. It happens that the bride does not know which dress she wants or has not yet decided on the style of decoration, but the design of the cake is always decided quite quickly.
How to present a Wedding Cake?
You need to be able to properly portray such an important element of your wedding day. Our recommendations for the beautiful presentation of a wedding cake:
Wedding cake: What’s the best time to serve the cake?
Time. Traditionally, the cake is served later in the wedding celebration. This is the final treat (dessert) that informs guests that the official part of the feast is soon coming to an end. Keep in mind that waiters need time to cut the cake into portions, take orders for coffee and tea, and serve the treat to each guest. Think in advance about what guests can do during this time. This can be a wedding tradition (throwing a bouquet, family flames, etc.), a photo shoot with sparklers, fireworks, or a closing number from a show. A wedding entertainer can advise you best and offer you the most interesting things.
Location. We offer our newlyweds to cut the cake against the background of the wedding ceremony, near the photo zone or the presidium. These are obviously already beautiful places that, with additional lighting, provide the perfect backdrop for a special moment.
Technology and special effects. Of course, the cake is not cut in silence and in the dark, you should think about that in advance and prepare a sound system and additional light. Special effects (e.g. cold fountain) add extra celebration to the moment.
Process. We have long since given up pushing the cake out on a cart, as the action itself has no particular beauty or symbolism, but it does involve a number of risks. The cake is on a special table and the newlyweds approach it.
