After the wedding ceremony, the German bride and groom can expect an old ritual. You have to saw a heavy log as a couple. Also, you need to do this with an old rusty saw. This ritual makes it clear to the bride and groom that all problems in family life must be solved together and that the division of labor between husband and wife is rather arbitrary.
Once the wedding tree trunk is cut, the real fun begins. All the floats line up and drive in a beautiful column to the banquet square. Each car in the motorcade is decorated with a white ribbon attached to the antenna. During the movement, all cars give a solemn signal without stopping for a second.
