Wedding in Armenia: A Multilingual Celebration with Heart
Every so often, you come across a wedding where so many cultures, languages, and stories come together that you’re surprised yourself by how effortlessly it all fits. That’s exactly what our host Agasi experienced recently in Armenia — a celebration held in English, German, and Russian, with guests from completely different corners of the world. Agasi is part of the Fasol host team and successfully conquers the hearts of dozens of newlyweds annually.

The Challenge of Trilingual Hosting
Hosting a wedding in three languages might sound like a logistical task at first. In reality, it’s far more than that. The real art doesn’t lie in simply translating one sentence into the next language — that would quickly become repetitive and tiring. Instead, it’s about carrying the thought forward in each language, building on it rather than repeating it, so that every guest — no matter which of the three languages they understand — experiences the full story. That’s the true art of multilingual hosting — and it’s exactly what Agasi achieved so impressively at this wedding.

Careful Preparation for a One-of-a-Kind Program
A result like this doesn’t happen by accident. In the lead-up, Agasi worked closely with the on-site wedding planner as well as with the couple themselves. Through countless conversations, the program was reworked again and again until the right flow was found — one that didn’t follow a standard template, but was tailored exactly to this couple and their guests. This close collaboration is, in our experience, the key ingredient behind a successful celebration for international weddings, and especially for a wedding abroad — the details, languages, and expectations of every guest need to be considered from the very beginning, so that everything comes together seamlessly in the end.
A Special Moment During the Ceremony
One moment in particular has stayed with us: as part of her wedding vows, the bride performed a rap verse in German — the groom’s native language — quoting lines from a well-known song by a German rapper. A completely unexpected, deeply personal moment that showed just how much attention to detail went into this celebration.
